Banana Beach hides on the 'wild' stretch of coast between Bang Tao and Nai Thon: a forest stairway down from the highway leads to 200 metres of white sand, clear water and snorkelling by the rocks at both ends.
Look for the small car park at the Banana Rock bend; entry is free and there's a simple cafe. It's busier than in its 'secret' years, but on a weekday morning the cove is still nearly yours.
