Days 1–7
Week-one programme
The first week follows the 'Phuket in 7 days' plan: beaches, the Big Buddha and Promthep, Phi Phi or Phang Nga, elephants, viewpoints, the Old Town. By the end the island feels like home — time to widen the map.
Days 8–9
Phi Phi overnight
Morning ferry from Rassada and Phi Phi is yours for two days: a sunrise longtail into Pi Leh with no other boats around, the viewpoint at sunset, an evening fire show in Tonsai. Staying over is a completely different Phi Phi than the day-tour speedboat window.
Days 10–11
Krabi: Railay & Ao Nang
From Phi Phi a ferry runs straight to Krabi — a neat link with no Phuket backtrack. Two nights: a day at Railay (Phranang Beach cave, cliffs, maybe a climbing taster), a day island-hopping from Ao Nang or the hot springs and Emerald Pool.
Days 12–13
Back to Phuket & the north
Return to Phuket and change pace: the quiet northern beaches of Nai Thon and Nai Yang, and if you like, a day trip to Khao Lak with its waterfalls (an hour away). In season it's also the shorter gateway to the Similans if you haven't been.
Day 14
Final day
No heroics: a favourite beach from the ones you've discovered, a farewell seafood dinner (Rawai's fish market is perfect), and packing. Buy fruit and souvenirs at a morning market, not duty-free.
